Well, the real question is, am I a biophysicist because the way I think, or do I think that way because I am a biophysicist? Hmmm

You're a thinker first. Biophysics is too bloody hard to do without the correct mindset right from the start. I don't think you can learn to think like a biophysics geek. You either see the connections between interatomic/intermolecular interactions and thermodynamics, or you don't. Of course, for me it depends on the day. Some days that's all I want to do, others I dream about opening an icecream store at the beach... :-)
